The year of the rooster "love among the chickens' is just round the corner. Everywhere, you can pick your coop in the shape of chicken stuffs. In Chinatown one can see the "Hong Bao" lightup and is so..so crowded already. This year will be a quiet CNY for us as the Chinese believes that after a loved one's died, we should not celebrate Chinese New Year! Arghz, perhaps I am going to have a getaway to somewhere to relax and escape from giving angpows, hee3! By the way we also cannot give 'angpow' this year. Heng ah!

In Chinatown you can see lots of prosperity stuffs like 'Yu Sheng' (Raw Fish), Bakwa, cookies, like pineapple tarts, 'Nian Gao' and little cute decorations hanging everywhere, it is so red and cool, hey! guys if you have not been get on your feet and go now as it is going to be very very crowded next week, as people are doing the last minute rush... hoping for a bargain!

Our intention is to go for our humble 'claypot' rice in Chinatown hawker food centre and it was already so crowded.

By the way I will either be away or in my humble house watching TV.
