More than 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, Pontius Pilate commanded that a placard be placed on the cross that read: "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews." Perhaps Pilate sought to induce fear among the people and discourage them from crowning their own king.

King of the Jews. Was it an original thought at the time? Perhaps it had been introduced when the wise men asked, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?" (Matthew 2:2). They had sought the fulfillment of this promise: "For unto us a Child is born . . . ; the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6). They believed Jesus was this Child.

Later, when Christ was crucified, some jeered, "If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross" (Matthew 27:40). They wanted to see if Jesus really was King. But Jesus did not come down. The true meaning of the cross is that "Christ died for our sins" (1 Corinthians 15:3). He who paid the penalty of our sins has made God's forgiveness possible.

Those who accept God's forgiveness and ask Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord can have only one appropriate response—to serve Him. He is King of our lives. —Albert Lee

Yesterday went lunch at Kippo with Serene and Zhixian. Wow! we are like glutton ate so much but enjoying ourselves as we have the time to eat slowly to our heart content. Arghz!!... actually buffet does more harm than good! I am stuffed until I couldn't eat for dinner and breakfast. Hey, need to do my workout again.

Gosh, another lunch appointment for Japanese tomorrow. No hope for my waist line.

Convicted of sedition, condemned to death by crucifixion, nailed to a cross on a hill called Golgotha, Jesus of Nazareth had endured all that he could. According to Mark, the earliest Gospel, Jesus, suffering and approaching the end, repeated a verse of the 22nd Psalm, a passage familiar to first-century Jewish ears: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" There was a final, wordless cry. And then silence.

Why have you forsaken me? From the Gospel accounts, it was a question for which Jesus' disciples had no ready answer. In the chaos of the arrest and Crucifixion, the early followers had scattered. They had expected victory, not defeat, in this Jerusalem spring. If Jesus were, as they believed, the Jewish Messiah, then his great achievement would be the inauguration of the Kingdom of God on earth, an age marked by the elimination of evil, the dispensation of justice, the restoration of Israel and the general resurrection of the dead.

Wow! had a good walk to HSBC Treetop Walk but Monday is closed. Anyway is so good to have a hiking this morning to do my exercise.

Will try again another day as we have not done the suspension bridge walk across today. Hope to cut away some kgs away....oops!! Will try definitely.

Wow! listen to God's miracle.

On Sunday on our way to church, when we arrived Shao was asking me for his Bible, I told him is not with me. He then realised he left it on top of the car which he drove all the way to church.

Amazingly God secured it. HE must be holding on to the Bible from slipping off. Praise God it is unblieveable how it didn't dropped off!

Believe it of NOT GOD does miraculous thing in a mysterious way.

Do you know what "Tsunami" literally means? It seems the literal meaning is "harbour wave". Tsu - Harbour, port. Nami - wave. But put it together and it takes a whole different meaning - tidal wave.

Harbour wave - could this well be the mother of all euphemisms? What a understatement! A harbour wave has no right to be s destructive and devastasting.

John 19:30 records Christ's death with these words - "Then He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit" This is also euphemistic. What an understated way to describe the death of deaths! 'pass away' is a euphemism for 'die'.

Sometimes as God's people, our living out of God's grace is also euphemistic. We are too understated in our witness for Jesus.

So during this Holy Week and Easter may we filled with the power of God's power, love and healing.

One day Three men were walking
along and came upon a raging, violent
river. They needed to get to the other
side, but had no idea of how to do it.



The first man prayed to God saying,
Please God, give me the strength to
cross this river. Poof !
God gave him big arms and strong legs
and he was able to swim across the
river in about 3 hours.



Seeing this, the second man prayed to God
saying, Please God, give me the strength to
and ability to cross this river. Poof !
God gave him a rowboat and he was able
to row across the river in about one hour.



The third man saw how this worked out for
the other two, so he prayed to God saying,
Please God, give me the strength, ability,
and intelligence to cross this river.

Poof !

Wow! knowing to be radical Christians is to give our first priority to GOD. Everyone was so busy with the work schedule and still making time for GOD that is what DJ meant by radical perspective.

His sermon has taught us that whatever trails and situation we face being rooted with good foundation no one can rob or shake us. It is by God's strength that we are made holy. Amen!

Today's sermon was about The Church, The Commissioning, The War, The Wedding. It is not the pattern that God wants, it is the actual piece of HIS work.
